Hotel Leo in Bellingham offered a delightful stay with its cozy lobby featuring a piano, perfect for a festive Christmas ambiance. the room was spacious, and the staff went above and beyond in extending our check-out time. the central location was ideal, with everything within walking distance, including coffee shops and restaurants. the gym was impressive and well-equipped, perfect for staying active during the holidays. The unique combination of hotel lodging and apartment residences created a lively mix of guests and tenants, making the common areas vibrant and welcoming. the social lounge was a great spot to relax and enjoy some friendly competition over shuffleboard. Amendment 21, the prohibition-era bar, was a hidden gem within the hotel, offering craft cocktails and locally inspired dishes. the location's proximity to downtown Bellingham allowed for easy exploration of the area, with the waterfront park just a short distance away. Overall, Hotel Leo provided a comfortable and charming experience, perfect for couples or small groups looking for a boutique hotel with a touch of history and modern flair. I would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Bellingham, whether for a leisurely holiday stay or a quick stopover on your travels. I look forward to returning, especially during the winter season to see the Christmas tree in the foyer, adding to the hotel's already inviting atmosphere.
